Overview The Photography/ Social Media Director is responsible for the planning and implementation of marketing and social media content at camp; including but not limited to posting twice a day, creating video yearbooks, blog posts and Village photos. This position requires the individual to be a creative, innovative and independent worker.This job announcement is not intended to be inclusive of all functions, responsibilities and qualifications associated with the position, however, representative of the essential job functions and typical criteria considered necessary to successfully perform the position.Responsibilities Take photos and videos of campers at activities, meals, cabins, evening program, special events etc.Upload and organize photos and videos to Bunk 1 daily.Take and develop Village photos for each session.Oversee Facebook, Instagram & Tik Tok and any other social media platforms.Responsible to post daily and to stay on brand.Work with Village Counselors to create newsletters for each village that is sent to parents.Create a slide show yearbook for each session that is shown at Banquet, e-mailed to parents and posted on camp’s YouTube channel.Assist with Trading Post.Assist with tractor rides.Supervise and participate in all assigned aspects of the campers’ day which includes but is not limited to; camper check-in and check-out; meal times; activities; and before/after-hours duties as assigned.Attend and participate in All Staff Training.Qualifications Must be 20 years of age or older.Previous camp experience or experience working with groups of children is preferred.Have knowledge in safety, care of equipment and supplies, inventory and skill instructions.Be able to work independently and not need to be micromanaged.Be able to use photo editing software and be computer literate.Benefits YMCA MembershipDiscounted Programs12% Employer Retirement ContributionPaid Sick TimePosted Salary Range USD $245.00 - USD $690.00 /Wk.#J-18808-Ljbffr
